it is called a buffer. there would be minimal change in pH value if this solution is added
A chemoreceptor can detect changes in hydrogen ion concentration.
Determine the initial hydrogen ion concentration Determine the final hydrogen ion concentration see the difference... 3.2×104
When a given solution is diluted, it concentration is usually lowered as well. The density of the given solution also changes when the solution is diluted.
Solution actually. Cordial is itself a solution, so adding water to it just changes concentration.

It's not that the concentration of H+ ions goes up because pH goes up. Instead, the pH goes down because H+ concentration increases. I know that's a really subtle difference, but it is crucial. If you're good at math this may help: pH= -log [H+] where [H+] simply means concentration of hydrogen ions. So, you can see from this formula that as the concentration of hydrogen ions increase, the pH will decrease because it is a negative log. You can also see that the pH is a function of hydrogen concentration. I hope that clears some ideas up for you. Good luck!

When a solid solute drink mix is added to any solution, the concentration changes to a higher magnitude.
An acidic solution in one in which the number of hydrogen ions exceeds the number of hydroxide ions.An acidic solution is one where the hydrogen ion concentration is greater than the hydroxide ion concentration.
pH = -log[H+].Hence lower the pH, higher is the concentration of H+ ions.For exampleAt pH = 1, [H+] = 0.1 MAt pH = 2, [H+] = 0.01 MAt pH = 3, [H+] = 0.001 Mand so on...
