They're called pulsars. Some pulse very quickly - some have a long period between pulses. It depends on the rotational speed.
A star that pulsates is known as a variable star.
Yes: Betelgeuse is a semiregular variable star so it is classed as a pulsating star.
Maybe your car sucks.

Check the rotor, it's probably warped.
The Cepheid phase is a stage in the life cycle of a star where the star pulsates in a predictable manner, changing in brightness over a fixed period of time. This pulsation is used by astronomers to accurately measure the distance to Cepheid variable stars and other celestial objects.
check your anti lock brake systemm as this is what it supposed to do . It pulsates so that it will not lock up
carotid artery that pulsates. Do not press hard as it will affect the blood pressure of the person.
I'm guessing your heart pumps the blood around your body causing your arteries to pulsate. Hence your pulse.
The star RR Lyrae is a special type of star, slightly smaller than the Sun, which pulsates in brightness. There are many stars of this type, and they are useful in astronomy because the period of variation depend on their mass and brightness, so they can be used as a standard candle. Asronomer look for RR Lyrae-type stars in globular clusters, and when they can find one it tells them the distance to that cluster, even if it's too far away to have its parallax measured.
Either warped rotors or drums can cause pulsating. Apply the parking brake slowly while going about 15mph and see if t pulsates. If it does, it is the drums that need turning. If not, it is the rotors that need turning.
you need to have your brake rotors turned or even replaced, this is a 200.00 fix or so
