The best cure is to develop relationships with LIVE people, not cell phone conversations that most probably have no importance.

{| |- | Contact the police. It is battery and is a crime. They will determine if charges can be brought against the 23 year old. |}
Of course not. Insurance is a contract that takes both parties to consent and you have to contact somebody from the company to start the coverage. If you had a car that you gave up and had coverage on that, you are likely okay because your coverage follows you no matter what car you are driving. But if this is your first car or your other coverage had already expired, then you need to contact them right away so that you can bind coverage and be certain you are insured.
Sounds like you have anxiety. Contact your doctor.

Most often, yes. But... it would have to be in contact with the battery charger. There is no way I know of to charge a camera battery without it being in contact with either the camera or the charger.
Recharge: By having a positive charge applied to the positive contact of the battery, and by having a negative charge applied to the negative contact of the battery. Discharge: complete a circuit between both contacts of the battery.
Tort of battery is intentionally and voluntarily bringing about an unconsented harmful or offensive contact with a person ot to something closely associated to them. Battery is a criminal offense involving unlawful physical contact, distinct from assault in that the contact is not necessarily violent.
