this question is sort of hard to answer because some people would have different oppinons....i would say and American staffy as they were bred for fighting and are ALOT more stocky and agile
It is a mix bred.
American staffys are considered the same breed as an American pit bull
The American Breed Standard for the American Staffordshire Terrier height is 18 to 19 inches at the shoulder for a male, and female 17 to 18 inches at the shoulder.
A Staffordshire Bull Terrier wins Best of Breed every year. Best of Breed is the Best dog from each breed, so there will always be one from the Staffy breed. This year (2011) a red Staffordshire Bull Terrier came third in Best in Group but a Staffy has never won Best in Show.
yes a staffy
No, that is a good age to breed dogs.
A Staffy is a nickname for the popular dog breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier. A Staffy has many unique characteristics, including a low center of gravity and fun loving character.
It should be between 18 and 22 inches tall. Anything taller than this usually means it has been crossed with another breed and most possibly a American staffy!
According to the official American Kennel Club breed standard, there is no specified weight for American Staffordshire Terriers. The standard only states that height and weight should be in proportion, and the desired height is between 17 and 19 inches at the shoulder.
You are right to think that if your Staffy has a solid black saddle that it may be a mixed breed as this marking is not seen in pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terriers. There are many breeds that have black saddles, including Beagles, Jack Russells, Fox Terriers, German Shepherds and so many more. It would be impossible for me to identify what breed your Staffy is crossed with without first seeing a picture though.

Although for it's size the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a very strong breed, the Japanese Akita has much more size and weight so is undoubtedly stronger. However, if the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was the same size as an Akita, then the Staffordshire Bull Terrier would likely be strongest. Both of these breeds are very powerful.
