That's how they swallow so they need water to eat. They always live in fresh water.

∙ 15y agoI NEED THE ANSWER FOR IT NOW. It's kind of a weird question. Turtles are true amphibians, so they can live on the shore or in the water. They eat mostly plants, so they find their food around their habitat. Eggs are laid on the shore, above high tide level, usually buried in the sand. What else do you need?
