I have one to!! It is on my left knee, very red, gotten bigger by the hour, and has a white center? Does that sound like what you have? I can't sit-up on my knees either. I'm looking for a cure & need some help. I've heard about putting a warm washcloth on it to 5-10 minutes. About to try it!!
It is a ingrown hair you just have to pop it and it will hurt for as couple days but make sure you get all the puss out of it or it will hurt like hell!

You could get knee support for you knee at any pharmacy of sporting store. Just look for a knee brace. Knee braces are great because they will support your knee and they are cheap.
It's common and it's similar to 'water on the knee.' When the body becomes dehydrated, particularly hot or the person is standing for a long length of time this can cause 'water on the knee.' In the case of the bump on your head you have something similar, but, anything to do with the head should be checked out by a specialist to be sure there is no other injuries to the head. Please don't assume this is like water on the knee and do nothing about it. Any bump or lump should be checked out by your doctor and generally everything is just fine and it will put your mind to rest.
black eyeliner rubbed in on your knee or something wherever u want And possibly some kinmd of yellowish or purpleish paint or marker or something.
proximal epiphisis tibial tubarosity
it could mean that your bursa(not sure how spelled) in your knee is swollen. they are there to protect your knee cap and normally have fluid in them. if you hit your knee on something really hard then it could have caused your bursa sack to swell up to protect the knee cap. normally, it just hurts for a little but you can still do things on it, it wont matter.
When you bump your knee (or other body parts) there is some damage to the various tissues involved. The body has two main types of fluids that constantly circulate, which are blood and lymph. When there is damage to the body, these fluids tend to leak out of their normal pathways and vessels, and to pool in the damaged area. Bumps are formed as a result of added fluid. Eventually the excess fluid will be reabsorbed into its normal circulation, and the bump will heal.
Technically, your knee is not comprised of just one bone. It's a joint, which allows movement. The femur and then the tibia and fibula meet under the kneecap, which is known as the patella. There are arteries, veins and nerves that are located alongside and on top of the knee joint. If these are injured in any way, it is a surgical emergency, and could possibly lead to death. The purpose of the patella is to protect the arteries, veins and nerves, and in turn, protecting a person's life.
You can keep your legs still at a posting or rising trot by squeezing with your knee calves. If you squeeze with just your knee calves, from there down to the stirrups it should be still. Unless you have a horse like me where you have to bump him in a rhythmic motion to keep him at an extended trot. So the answer is to squeeze more with you knee calves instead of using your feet to post.
It may be a pimple or a wart. If this bump starts to get discolored or look funny in anyway you need to see a doctor.
