higher national diploma in international business managment
No, an ordinary national diploma in business studies is not equivalent to a higher degree. A higher degree typically refers to postgraduate qualifications such as a master's degree or a doctoral degree. An ordinary national diploma is a vocational qualification at the undergraduate level.
A higher diploma is typically a postgraduate qualification that follows a bachelor's degree and is a step higher in academic level, whereas a Higher National Diploma (HND) is a vocational qualification offered in the UK and focuses on practical skills and knowledge for a specific job or industry. HNDs are often considered equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's degree.

Typically it is an associate degree (two year program of study). In some countries it may be referred to as a higher diploma or higher national diploma.

i am on a BTEC National Diploma Course in fish husbandary at brooksby college, and i was woundering if i could be eligable for a student loan? The way I believe it works is whether the diploma is classed as further education or higher education. I did a BTEC National Diploma in Foundation Studies (art and design) and this was further education. Only higher education students qualify for a loan.
No
If it is under the British system it would be a Higher National Diploma.
