Highly advanced cultures are defined by their medical, social, and educational advances. Japan is considered to be a highly advanced culture.

This is a very difficult question to answer for three reasons. First, what is a "culture"? We could be talking about countries, or groups of countries, or parts of countries: American culture, Eskimo culture, Muslim culture, Cajun culture. Second, what makes a culture "advanced"? Technological advancements spring to mind, but we might call a society advanced if it has a sophisticated form of government, high moral standards, or high levels of artistic accomplishment. The answer depends on how we weigh these factors against each other. Finally, and especially regarding technological advancement, our world is so interconnected that an advancement, once reached, immediately spreads around the world. A Civilization is a group of people united under one flag with a leader or a form of political system, one or more beliefs/ religion and a form of communication in any form ranging from writing to speaking. The people have to also have a ranking systems: Such as High-Class, Middle-Class and Lower-Class and so on.
