I can't find Copha in England either and I need some for a recipe but just my luck it is nowhere to be seen. I have read recently that you could use an English thing very similar called Crisco, or lard, butter or marge can be substitutes but you want the real thing, and you could use a mix like my cousin, of 2 parts butter, lard and mix in 1 part creamed coconut or coconut milk. Hoped this helped, happy cooking Hun xx Make it tasty babe. Bye! (PS i am going with the 2 parts butter, 1 part coconut as my cousins recipe worked a treat!) Thanks and please tell me if your recipe went OK. I'm Waiting! x

You CAN get Copha in the UK, if you really want it?

Not sure if Wiki Answers allows a direct link, but here goes ...
