A list of date of births is raw data. If you looked through that list you could do things like find how many people were born in April or who is the oldest or who was born between the 10th and 20th of the month and so on. All of those things are information that can be got from the data. All that you can see is a list of dates of births. Nowhere in that list does it explicity say something like "There were 14 people born in April", but you could find that information by looking through the data. So data can be used to get information.
processing
Data is raw information. In other words you collect data and process it into information. Data is incoherent while information is logical and can be used in a decision making process.
Raw data
Databasis process raw data to relay information while at the same time outgoing information is processed into raw data. Manipulation of the data entered is unnecessary and usually only requires the proper codes to convert the entry into raw data.
raw data is the one which cant be understand.raw data is useful for making the data.example is raw data is devi, data is i am devi.We can say raw data is the process for data
data is collection of raw figures and factors.when data is processed known as information.
Information is interpreted data. Data gives you the 'raw materials' that you process (interpret) and obtain information.
I would say "raw data" is a collection of observations from experiments and "information" is the conclusion derived from that raw data after it has been analyzed.
data is raw. It is the collection of facts, figures which in itself do not provide any useful or meaningful context. Data when processed becomes information. it is information and not the data which is useful for managers. For example, age of all personnel working in an organisation is Data, while, average age is information.
Activities such as data collection, data storage, data processing, and data analysis are involved in converting raw data into useful information within information systems. These activities help organize, filter, and transform raw data into a format that can be easily interpreted and used for decision-making.
Data is given to computers to analyse. The result is information. The terms data and information are used interchangeably, but strictly speaking data is the raw facts and information is what can be derived from them. For example, a list of dates of birth is data. How many of those dates of birth are in the month of April is information. A list if numbers is data. The average of those numbers is information. By analysing data, we can get information.
While data refers to raw and unorganized facts that require some processing, information is data that has been processed, organized and presented in a particular manner. The individual scores of students in a test is an example of data while the average score of the class is information obtained from the relevant data.
