How are icebergs naturally formed?

Icebergs were once part of a glacier. To better understand an iceburg, one must know what a glacier is made from. When the temperature is low enough that the sun doesn't melt snow, the snow then accumulates on top of itself, compressing and eventually hardening to become a glacier. The edges of the huge glaciers have ice shelves where the glacier itself meets the ocean and parts of the glacier float. These can break off to form icebergs when the waves from the ocean erosion on the thinner stretches of the ice shelf.

Why there is more heat in an iceburg than a pot of boiling water?

"Heat" doesn't refer to the temperature, but to the amount of thermal energy - for two substances of the same type, that would basically be the temperature multiplied by the mass. (For a more detailed analysis, you would also have to consider latent heat for phase changes, and an object's specific heat.) First, heat and temperature are not the same thing, a common misconception. All matter has what is called a "Specific Heat" (c) which is the amount of energy needed to raise its temperature by one degree Kelvin. Water for instance has a specific heat of 4181 J/(kg*K). (joule per kilogram per degree kelvin)

How are glaciers dangerous?

They can be very dangerous to ships passing by, especially if it is foggy. A lot of times glaciers will split causing splinters of icebergs. These can be extremely dangerous because they can be mostly underwater. Other than that, the edge of a glacier on land can easily kill with falling pieces of ice; this is a growing fear in areas where they are tourist destinations, since the ice melts easier and is even less predictable than before. Slips on the ice can injure just as much as the ice falling on you can; there are always crevasses and slips that you can fall down; and of course you are standing on a frozen river. Also, ships are in grave dangers when passing through icy waters. Since, as said before, glaciers can be mostly underwater, ship's can hit them and burst through the metal. An example is the Titanic.
