(greek for air) the latter is commonyl used in fantasy for epic battles where air is an actual weapon. if however you ment fighting in the air the only term we currently have is dogfight which refers to high speed fighters or helicopters intercepting an aircraft. no idea if bomber vs bomber has a term as i doubt it ever occured with out fighter escorts.
