Gmail.com makes it difficult to see your new mail and does not have spam filters like AOL has, but gmail.com and AOL both have the same IM problems. One problem is that you can only IM someone with that address (AOL, Gmail) but AOL also separates new, old, and sent!!!
Gmail tends to be the more popular of the two. In recent years, gmail has become more popular due to important features such as a better junkmail filter, ease of use, faster load time, and mail fowarding.
I think Gmail is better. It does a better job with:
Both Gmail and Yahoo are the best email services in the world, which is the reason more and more people are interested in them. If you are looking for a free email service, you can personally choose either Gmail or Yahoo. Both of them have powerful features, free storage and all the things you might need for email, but if you are looking for the best email service for business and a large email list, you are better off with Gmail, because it is a business email service.
Yes Gmail is better than AOL ... Only merrit and demerrit of Gmail is that it takes the maximum available bandwidth
The actual differences between AOL and Gmail are slight. However, Google has more features and more connections with social media.
I think both are about equal, I have both. You should make a nonsense one of both and experience both for yourself.
Gmail and Yahoomail both are mailing services. There are different advantages of both. People prefer Gmail because of it's simplicity.
it is yahoo

This varies by the operating system used to run the mail server. In Linux, typically there are separate service daemons (servers) for each protocol. A popular SMTP server for receiving mail (from local users to go out, or from other domains coming in) is Postfix. A popular POP3/IMAP server is Dovecot. But if you ask different people you may get different answers based on their unique setup.
