It depends on what the recommended oil from the manufacturer is. If they call for 5w30, then using 15w40 may be too thick. Which could prevent oil from getting to all internal engine components.
NO, stick with 5w20 or 5w30 if the mileage is over 100,000.
SAE 5w30 any major brand of High Mileage oil.
Can you use it for What?
mobile 1 high mileage 5w30
for winter use 5w30 for summer stay with either 5w30 or 10w30 for high-mileage id use a 10w30 high mileage oil DONT ADD TREATMENT ITS ALL HYPE!!!!!!!! for preformance id go either with syntec oil 5w30 or royal purple oil
Use the exact weight that is listed in your owners manual and nothing else. It can be synthetic, conventional, or high mileage.
I think 5w30 if you don't have too high mileage. If you do have high mileage on your car then it's not a bad idea to use oil with higher viscosity, for instance 10w30.
High Mileage oil. I'd recommend Penzoil 5W30
SAE 5w30 any major brand of High Mileage oil.
The book says 5W30 but if you have high mileage I think a 10w40 should do the trick.
SAE 5w20 High Mileage oil any major brand. If it is burning oil then use SAE 5w30 High Mileage.
You can, but I would not recommended. Due to it's not a new truck and high mileage. You can put 10W30 or 10W40 instead. I think the 5W30 may hurt your engine.
