It depends. The thing with electric cars is how often one stops. If the car is idle for a certain period of time, then the gas engine turns off (this is way electric cars save so much gas, besides the fact that the gas engine itself is designed to use fuel as effiently as possible and still go forward). What this would translate too in the real world would be that: a--if you happen to start and stop alot (let's say, on your commute through the city) then it would be wise to consider a electric car; also, if you tend to drive a lot and a lot by yourself, then go green. b--if you do not drive often or have a long commute, with few stops and/or you're driving a carpool group, consider a gas car (on the plus side, regular cars are getting more effecient themselves, just research the make). Lastly, remember that electric cars aren't exactly powerful--sometimes it may have difficulty or be slow going up steep inclines especially if one were carrying alot of weight.
Hope this helps!
Electric cars are better for the environment but slower and have to charged almost daily. They will have to improve in performance before most people will buy one.
Neither, Gas cars create pollution that penetrate the ozone layer and begin to create a hole in it. Electric cars run out of battery after 120 or so miles.
An electric car doesn't go very fast and are usually small, Gas powered cars have much more torque and speed. Some newer cars run on both so when they are going slow they run on electricity but when they are going fast they run on gas. These are not electric cars though as the fuel used is gas to create the electric power. To answer your question, gas cars are far better because they can go further then 20 miles and are legal on our roads. There are no legal electric cars commercially built.and do not exist.
you can use electric cars instead of regular cars that use gas.
yes because electric cars cause lesss pollution and they have silent engines
IMO, the natural gas vehicle is far better. Longer range, and uses no gasoline or oil like an electric car and natural gas is an abundant source of fuel. Electric cars have to be recharged. The electricity is produced by either a gasoline engine or form the electric power grid. Allot of the electric power today is produced by coal fired plants. The natural powered car is far superior.
I don't pick electric over gas.
make it electric cars
Electric cars reduce the amount of fuel-dependent cars on the road. As more electric cars are produced, the US will need fewer barrels of gas.
yes
Yes, there are pure electric cars as well as a combination of electric and gas powered, such as the Prius.
Electric and hybrid cars are excellent vehicles for those consumers looking to save money on fuel costs and at the same time better the environment. Electric and hybrid cars have an electrical engine to go along with the gas engine, allowing the electric engine to assist the gas engine in times of need. Electric and hybrid vehicles not only cost less to buy than normal cars, but fuel costs are less than 25% than that of normal cars.
