The WWE Women's Championship was established in 1956. At that time it was named the NWA World Women's Championship for the NWA. The first ever woman to hold the title was the wrestler The Fabulous Moolah. She debuted as a wrestler in 1949 and retired in 2007.
Atlanta, Georgia on Raw (3 Hour Special) I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT WWE ( not the old ones like WWF or NWA. im the new one like WWE) .
He went to TNA as Ron 'The Truth' Killings where he won the nwa title a few times. Then he went back to wwe as R-Truth.
In a interview he said he is coming back July 22,2009 after his NWA contact expires
I think they were some good company at that time. But then wcw and wwf/e got better so they didn't need them. Later on tna withdrew from nwa. now nwa is crappppppppppp!
Sting never left the WWE, because he was never there to begin with. He's prominently known for his time in the NWA in the '80s, WCW in the '90s, and TNA in the 2000's, but he was never employed by the WWE.
In my opinion WWE is better.
9-time tag team champions(WWE),(WCW),(OMEGA),(NWA).
Buddy Rodgers except back then it was called the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship. Technically Rogers did not win the title, as the top star in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) he was named the first WWE Champion when the company began promoting in the early 1960's. Rogers quickly lost the title to Bruno Sammartino, making Rogers the first ever WWE Champion but Bruno the first man to "WIN" the title. Subsequently, Rogers was the first man to be recognized as both WWE and NWA or WCW (World Championship Wrestling, the company name after Ted Turner purchased most of the NWA assets in the late 80's) until Ric Flair in 1992.
WWE is the best.
