Biological isolation occurs when an individual or in most cases a population of individuals do not have contact with other species that they are capable of breeding with or infecting. This process can be man made or natural. In man made we isolate organisms in a sterile environment such as a level 4 Biology lab, special greenhouses, and on special farms. Natural isolation can occur when a population of organisms travel to islands from the mainland and no longer breed with organisms from the mainland. Occasionally natural disasters such as earthquakes, mud slides, etc can force a population into a small portion of its previous environment separating the population into different areas. These populations can then evolve separately.
Alopatric speciation.
they contribute to biological evolution by how they've affected the evolution rate by increasing it or decreasing it
Biogeography is the study of the distribution of species and ecosystems in geographic space and through (geological) time. Organisms and biological communities often vary in a regular fashion along geographic gradients of latitude, elevation, isolation and habitat area.

A BIG suit is an airtight fullbody suit intended to protect the wearer from biologically hazardous persons, serums, materials. BIG stands for "Biological Isolation Garment".
Cells are organized into tissues in multicellular organisms. Tissues are further organized into organs. This organization allows for the localization and isolation of biological processes.
1. When new species form.2. When a group is separated from the rest of its species.3. When members of the isolated group can no longer mate with the rest of species.
Three types of isolation involve mating; habitat isolation, mechanical isolation, or sexual isolation.
Sure is. How can one mate if an ecological barrier is erected between two biological species? Even something as simple as the time of day can be a barrier to mating.
isolation
there are six types which are below: 1. geographical isolation 2. ecological (habitat) isolation 3. behavioral (ethological) isolation 4. temporal isolation 5. structural (mechanical) isolation 6. gamete mortality (gamete isolation)
