What is caused by erosion?

Erosion is either chemical or mechanical (wind, water, ice etc.) and cause the deterioration or decomposition of rock through either of these two processes.

The results of erosion contribute to almost every geographical feature on the face of the earth (with the exception to volcano).

Some features include: river valleys, river basins, the seashore, coastal cliffs, messa's and buttes, plains etc.
