Because of this, they were pushed to near extinction. India, China and all neighboring countries where the Bengal Tiger lives have banned hunting and so, the tiger population is slowly recovering

∙ 12y agoThe Bengal tiger is not extinct. In fact, it is the most numerous tiger subspecies, with a population of over 1700 in India alone, and a furhter 300 or so in other nearby lands.
