The tumblers become worn out without proper lubrication. You can purchase a small bottle of liquid graphite and follow their instructions. It's very simple and quick. Just remember not to wear white or very light colored slacks for a couple of weeks because the graphite WILL come off and get on your clothes.
Thur the dip stick..... Thur the dip stick.....
The ignition tumblers are part of the cylinder , they are internal and are what differentiate the key cuts. They do occasionally stick and bind the ignition cylinder
because its a ford
I just lost my 1996 achieva due to engine fire, GREAT CAR, it will be missed. It was the 4 cylinder 2.4L engine. 5 speed stick. I was having a misfire on cylinders 1 and 3. My ignition coils were bad. Ignition coils are found just under the engine cover above the spark plugs.
there is no dip stick for the trans on either the 2.4 or the 3400.
! This is called a Transfer Case Encoder Motor or a Transfer Case Shift Motor. If the motor itself is bad it will not engage and disengage the clutch to send power to the front differential. If is is corroded it will many times stick and blow the 20 amp fuse located in the engine compartment fuse box.
it has a sticky substance that is causing it to stick to the floor hope thats what you are looking for
First, stick the entire key into it to the ignition and start the engine. When you stick it in, there will be two lights that will either flash or stay solid around it. This will help you to find the second key hole in the 2013 Altima.
I had this problem, the stick-shift was not fully in the 'park' position try and jiggle the stick.
Electrons are tranferred to the stick, causing it to take on a negative charge
Yes, a bad ignition condenser will keep a motorcycle from firing. A bad ignition condenser might also have caused the points to stick together and burn up.
