- viruses, especially glandular fever
- exposure to heavy metals and/or chemicals

- stress.
Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can vary from person to person, but symptoms can include:
- extreme exhaustion
- extreme fatigue after exercise, and taking much longer than usual to recover from exercise
- headaches
- sore throat
- swollen glands
- temperature irregularities
- sensitivity to noise and/or light
- joint, muscle, and/or skin pains/aches
- loss of concentration
- memory loss
- gastrointestinal symptoms
- dizziness
- non-refreshing sleep
- depression
- emotional vulnerability
- Allergies and/or sensitivities
- heart rhythm irregularities.
