po441 is incorrect purge flow po446 is vsv vapor pressure sensor
Before you do anything examine the gasket at the gas cap. Clean it with light oil. Tighten gas cap until you hear at least 3 clicks. DO NOT refuel car with engine running and do not overfill tank by "topping off" after fuel nozzel clicks off at the gas station. All these have been known to cause P0441 & P0446.
P0441 and 0446 relate to the vapor cannister control system near the gas tank. Toyota had a "secret warranty" on these for 14 yrs and 140,000 miles. Google search Toyota EPA settlement for details on how to identify if your car is covered. How do I know? After much back and forth I finally got a dealer to change this assembly. At first they wouldn't admit knowing anything about it. But their own mechanic told me they always have 5-10 assemblies in parts stock. This is an ongoing problem.
i can validate that - i had a 98 corolla and recently had a " broken vapor canister" giving codes 441 and 446 - after googling and this answer helped me save more than $500 that my local mechanic wanted to replace the canister. difficult investement since the vehicle is usally not worth more than $2500
Toyota gave me a bit of hassle - but finally relented and fixed the problem.

Open the hood, look at the airbox, on the left hand side there is an electronic valve with two hoses connected to it but I bet that the rear hose of the two has pulled off. Reconnect it and disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to reset the codes. HI. That was exactly the case for my echo 2003. 5 days after changing air filter at canadian tire...check engine appeared. I get the codes p0441. p0442 and p0446. As mentioned at the above comment, the rear hose was disconnected. just reconnected it erase codes and all is fine. thanks a lot for the suggestion.
