Combat shooting can be a "sporting" event where shooters engage targets in a manner similar to how one would encounter targets in a combat scenario.
Typically, people shoot at a range at a know distance with stationary targets. In combat shooting, targets may move, present themselves (pop up) and then disappear. The shooter needs to be more observant to potential threats as they appear.
"Hogans Alley" was used by Law Enforcement, where potential targets appear, but the shooter doesn't know if the target will be a criminal, or an innocent civilian. This is a type of combat shooting where the shooter must make a split-second decision whether to shoot or not.
The purpose of body combat classes is mostly to teach body combat. The classes and mastery of body combat can both improve fitness and self confidence when taught correctly.
Shooting stars appear every night.
A silly question. Humans are not at all like shooting stars.
Meteorsseniors2010
Shooting stars are actually objects burning in the Earth's atmosphere. The name "shooting star" originates from ancient times (before advanced scientific investigation) when these burning meteors were though to actually be stars shooting across the night sky. Those that survive and crash onto the Earth's surface are then called meteorites.

There is no best and/or worst army in Warhammer 40k. The points system is mostly fair and reflects how these armies should be played. Tau are good at shooting but not so much at close combat, same with Orks and Tyranids, they're not the best at shooting but can eat you up at close combat (most Orks have a BS of 2 I think)
