First you will need to download the latest version of iTunes. Once downloaded you will need to create a playlist by clicking on the button in the bottom left corner that looks like a plus sign and name it 'DSi mp3'. Then drag a song of your choice to 'DSi mp3'. Make sure your songs are all in a line going from top to bottom, then right click the song you had in 'DSi mp3' and click 'create AAC version'. If a song was imported into iTunes in AAC format if you make an AIFF version of the song would it be the same quality of a song that was imported as an AIFF file?
Not the same! A song in a commercial CD usually/ normally was stored in an AIFF format. If you imported/ converted this song into an AAC format, then there will be some quality lost. And, if you then export/ convert this song (from AAC format into AIFF), that lost part is never be regained; the later AIFF song is not the same with the first(original) one.

If you delete songs downloaded from LimeWire will they be gone in ITunes as well?
This happened a few times with me. The only thing I did was download the songs again on limewire and the songs went straight to my music folder where I had everything and the songs went again. I'm just having problems dragging my movies into my library and while syncing, it says the disk cant be read from or written to. I dont know how to fix that. ---------------------------- The answer to this question is YES, they will, because iTunes simply finds and reads the song's file from the location you imported it - for example, Limewire. But there is a solution. Go into iTunes and highlight the song(s) in question, right click and select "Create AAC Version." AAC stands for Advanced Audio Coding, and it's the format that iTunes Store audio comes in. Anyway, after you've clicked to create the new version, it may take awhile, as iTunes "converts" the song. When it's finished there will be a new song file in your Music library - so you'll have two of the same song. You can delete the Limewire file now, and then delete the file in iTunes that will no longer play, but the AAC one will, even after the others are deleted. (If you aren't sure which is which, either try to play each or look at the date added.) Hope that helps.

When you plug it in you should be able to sync with windows media player. You need to create an AAC version of the song(s) you want on your enV touch, drag and drop them into windows media, and from there sync them onto your enV touch.
If you buy a song from iTunes and then upload the same song from LimeWire so you have the freedom to put your paid-for-song on a non-iTunes owned MP3 player is that illegal?
No it is not illegal, because you already paid for the song. But if you have uploaded it to Limewire and other people can then download it then yes it is illegal. I would suggest finding the song on your hard drive and using a file conveter and convert to MP3 and put that on your MP3, leaving iTunes AAC version in the folder that it was in.
