Mandrel for drifting the casing or drill pipe is forged with high-strength alloy steel, strict heat treatment process.
the breakout set or dummy roughneck side
If you mean drill horizontally through the dirt,, I'm no engineer but fitting a length of pipe with a water tap then extend the pipe as the water washes away the dirt from the working end under the slab and flushes out the sediment seems like it would work.
The drilling pipe comes in sections and they periodically stop drilling to add another section. This way they can drill to almost any depth desired. The physical drilling head on the tip of this pipe is rarely more than a couple of feet long.
Hss drill bits, Titanium coated drill bits and brad point drill bits.
A titanium or cobalt drill bit.
A 4 inch drill pipe torque is used for fishing in small casing.
Hydraulic drill pipe tongs. They are available in tubular sizes 2-3/8" to 12 in".

It holds the drill tube steady and is the path for oil or water to return when found.
Use 7/64 as tap drill and 9/64 as clearance drill
There is a special chuck on the lower end of the turntable that turns the pipe.
The term "tripping the well" got it's start most likely as a reference to the "round trip" made by the drill bit. The first leg of the trip is coming out of the hole, by lifting the entire drill string and unscrewing the upper most drill pipe called a joint, the newly removed drill pipe is laid beside the rig and the drill string is lifted again, etc. until all drill pipe is out of the hole. After service work is performed, for example change to fresh drill bit, then the second leg of the trip is to reverse the process, lowering the drill string as each new joint is made until fully back in the hole with the bit on bottom. You can find a lot of interesting videos on offshore rigs, jobs, etc here: I left the previous answer in place: When drill pipe is lowered or put into the well in the well, it is called running in or is tripping into the well. When drill pipe is raised or pull out of the well, it is call running out or tripping out of the well.
15mm drill bit and a drill.
No...what in the world would possess a man to think that explosives would be safe to use on an oil well. The proper way to drill an oil well would be to use a "Drill Bit" followed by a series of tools and special pipe to make up the "Bottom hole assembly" or the BHA. As the bit drills deeper a series of pipe are added to the top of the drilling pipe, these are call "Drill Pipe"
Of course and then one can "tap" the pinging to make a connection
It is a rod called the Kelly or Grief Stem.
Oil is extracted through drilling a well into an underground reservoir, typically using a drill bit attached to a drilling rig. The oil is then pumped or flows to the surface through the well. Various techniques such as primary, secondary, and tertiary recovery methods are used to extract the maximum amount of oil from a reservoir.
