Filtering is a mechanial or computational process to exclude something from something else. Examples of filtering include:
Filter is an instrument used to separate undesirable substances from a liquid, air.
It's a term also used in electronics but with a different sense. In this case it doesn't retain substances, but it works with frequencies.
removing a solid (dirt, leaves. etc) from a liquid.
You pour a solid liquid mixture into the filter paper as it is as a mixture then the solid will stay up and the water will go down into the cup. So then you have the liquid on its own and the solid on its own. -written by someone else
removing impuritys or toxins from a liquid (such as water).
OK, i cannot guarantee that doing this will make all marsh, pond, or lake water 100% safe to drink, I'm no scientist. i Hope that by reading this sad excuse for a procedure, you will understand filtration and hopefully you will learn something new.
i would suggest starting by crushing some (however much you think is a reasonable amount for the amount of water you have) charcoal into pieces about the size of your average marble (so that maximum surface area is exposed without the risk of it ending up in your water. there for it may be unwise to make it into a powder).
next i suggest setting up a colonder lined on the inside with a clean, tightly woven cloth and place the colander onto the clean container into wich you wish to filter your water.
put the charcoal in the lined colender.
slowly pour your un-filered water into the lined colender.
your water should come out fairly clean.
this happens because the coal draws the toxins from the liquid, *this is the same general idea as what happens in a BRITA filter*
no. the air filter is to filter air, while the fuel filter is used to filter the fuel.
Cabin filter? Air filter? Oil filter? Fuel filter? Transmission oil filter?
Which filter housing? Air filter, oil filter, fuel filter?
it has an oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, but no trans filter.
Why do you want to open the oil filter?? The filter is a spin-on. Why do you want to open the oil filter?? The filter is a spin-on. Why do you want to open the oil filter?? The filter is a spin-on.
Yes, it has a fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, and possibly a cabin filter.
pre filter post filter, weister filter ,mean filter meridian filter
No because oil filter i meant for oil to go on the filter air filter does not need oil
There is no "engine filter", but there is a fuel filter, oil filter, and air filter. Read your owners manual.
Well, you'd need to specify which filter. Fuel filter, hydraulic oil filter, motor oil filter, air filter? There's more than one filter.
that filter is an outside element - not an oil filter but an air filter
Viscus filter is product that filter air.
