PH7575 is the proper filter for this engine.
I have a Chevy 2004 Colorado V3500 5 cylinder engine. Filter is on the passenger side at the front of the engine. Easy to get too.

Oil filter location depends on which engine your car has. If it is the 2.5 L 4 cylinder engine the filter is in the engine oil pan. If it is a 3.1L V6 the oil filter is on the bottom edge of the block on the right side of the engine.

its an internal filter on top of the engine under the hood. its in a cylinder canister with a hard plastic top.

According to the 2011 Ford Escape Owner Guide ( and one of Fords websites ) For the 2.5 liter four cylinder engine If it has a SPIN ON TYPE engine oil filter it's the ( Motorcraft FL-910 ) * Also , with engine oil filter change , it takes ( 5.3 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 for the four cylinder engine ) Since the website shows a spin on type oil filter I assume there is a cartridge type filter but the website does not show any information about that
