Under the hood on the left side in most cases there is a place to put in radiator coolant.. It is usually next to the windshield wiper fluid... It says radiator coolant on it
drain all coolant then flush. refill with anti-freeze
Do not run the engine with windshield washer fluid in the cooling system. Most washer fluids contain methane alcohol and is not the same kind of chemical found in coolant. I strongly recommend thoroughly flushing the system and using new coolant. It may be wise to exchange the thermostat. The problem with a foreign chemical circulating the system is manifold and head gaskets could be damaged and if you are unable to replace these seals it can cost thousands of dollars.
Sounds like they are for sensor's (fluid level and heat)
By snow tires. Make sure that you have appropriate coolant, put winter type windshield fluid in the reservoir.
First, pop the hood. Locate the windshield wiper fluid reservoir on the passenger side, the coolant reservoir is directly behind that. The coolant container is a globe, and has a blue lid. If you look at the side of the coolant container, closest to the windshield wiper fluid, you will see two spaced out black lines with dots in between. If you see the coolant (which is pink in color and is called G12) between these two lines, the c
On a 2002 Ford Ranger : The reservoir would be in the engine compartment There are reservoirs for brake fluid , windshield washer fluid , power steering fluid , engine coolant , etcetera
In vehicles: Differential Usually 90 Weight gear oil Transfer case (if 4wd) Transmission Fluid Power steering fluid Windshield washer fluid Brake Fluid Coolant Fluid (antifreeze) Motor Oil Brake Fluid
Windshield fluid is not customized for specific makes of cars; any windshield fluid will work in any car that uses windshield fluid. If you Toyota Corolla isn't able to use your windshield fluid, the problem is not the fluid, it is in the mechanism of the car.
i have the same car..its right next to the windshield washer fluid in the same "container" there seperat3d though
You need to have the brake fluid changed immediately. Washer fluid will damage all of the seals in the brake system
No. Windshield washer fluid is specially designed for removing road grime, dust, bugs, etc. from windshields. It is formulated to keep it from freezing at low temperatures, but it is not antifreeze, the stuff in the radiator. The two systems are separate.
