∙ 12y agoThe Atlantic Ocean is getting wider since there are two tectonic plates that are pulling apart in the middle of the ocean. In the middle of the plates new magma bubbles up and fills the gap between the plates. Slowly the two plates are being pushed apart and water just fills everything up.
