The word "Dara" is derived from the Celtic word "Doire", which translates to "Oak Tree". The ancient Celts believed in the mystical power of nature, and to them the oak tree signified mostly power and leadership, but also denoted wisdom as well. There are of course other meanings depending on who you ask, but this is the central meaning to it.
