Hindus do not have one holy book. There is a wide collection of holy books that are categorized into Vedas, Upanishads Puranas etc. Ramayana and Mahabharata are special books and are among the most popular of the holy books. But the Gita or Bhagwat Gita is considered as a primary holy book containing the gist of Vedas and Upnishadas.
