Well it really depends on what you order. If you want to know about the crust they make if fresh daily with their own dough mixer in every store. The process is mainly a just add water and let it mix. After the dough is ready it is cut into appropriate proportions and stored in the "walk in." They only make enough dough to last for the next shift to keep the product fresh, and at the end or beginning of every shift dough is made for the next one. This is different from pizza hut and many larger companies that get "commissary dough." Commissary is pre-frozen dough that is sent in a truck to the stores by the case. The dough is frozen and looks like a disk. Commissary dough barely rises on its own and is sprayed with some sort of "release" as they call it. The fresh dough from double daves will not last long due to its freshness while companies such as papa johns and Pizza hut will last longer, but at a sacrifice to the quality of dough. Double Dave's also offers thin crust and whole wheat which are both mixed daily as well... with different recipes.

The toppings come from third party companies (probably the lowest price at an acceptable quality). The produce usually comes from a local company to insure the freshness and dry goods are through a contracted company. The specialty pizzas of double daves are the only pizzas that you might not be able to figure out on your own. The Buffalo Chicken is a mix of Franks Red Hot Sauce and Ranch Dressing and the barbeque pizza is just BBQ sauce, chicken, cheeze, and dough. Dave Fav is Olive Oil and Garlic powder serving as the sauce instead of a tomato sauce and the toppings are obvious either spinach and tomato for the veggie or meatball and sausage for the meat.
