I have a list of over 200 trade names used on shotguns around 1900, but S R Marshall and Comet are not in it. At that time many hardware stores ordered guns through H&D Folsom Sporting Goods of New York, and by ordering 12 and paying a couple dollars for the stamp, you could have them marked with any name you wanted. It was probably manufactured by Crescent Firearms, but may also be one imported from Belgium. I might be able to determine the actual manufacturer from photos, but regardless of who made it, its value is about $125-$150 if it is complete and in working order.
