monochromatic light or Polarized Light
Lasers emit light, high intensity light that only faces one way (the direction the light is pointed at). cheap lasers are less accurate when it comes to shining light on one spot.
Light travels in the direction it was emitted. Light cannot steer itself towards any particular object.
A flat tin is brighter, because of its light, it is only on one direction and our eyes grab all the reflections. While corrugated tin, is not brighter as the other one, because of its reflected light diffuses in different directions and the amount of light that our eyes get are smaller.A flat tin is brighter, because of its light, it is only on one direction and our eyes grab all the reflections. Light can not change direction by passing from one kind of mater to another. In fact, light can only pass through its own type of matter, which is when things like light can go through each other (and only a few types of matter can do that), but even in that case since it can go through, it can't be bent in angle by passing through.
Polarized light.
polarized light
No, it isn't one direction, otherwise there would not have been vibration at all! In normal light, the electric field vibrates in planes which are perpendicular to the direction that the wave is moving. In polarised light, the electric field vibrates in only one plane which is perpendicular to the direction that the wave is moving.. (3 dimension has been considered in the answer; this is why plane(s) have been used in the answer)

monochromatic light or Polarized Light
one direction(us)
yes. laser beams are just like light.

Polarized light has waves that vibrate only in one direction, or more in one direction than in others. For example, more "up-down" vibrations than "left-right" vibrations or anything in between.
A light emitting diode - LED.
The plant needs light to grow. So, the shoot has a tendency to grow towards the direction of light to receive more of it. The above result can be obtained by a simple school project involving growing of common beans in a cup, and keeping it in a shoe box with only one hole in the corner for light to enter.
