Low Dose Naltrexone is a much smaller dose of naltrexone which is use to treat auto immune diseases - Multiple Sclerosis (which is what I use it for), HIV/AIDS patients, Cancer patients, and so many others. I started taking the injections of the "LDN" 33 days ago and literally stopped having all tremors and muscle spastisity in my arms and legs! This drug has been such a blessing to me! I would love to share it with the WORLD! I believe that if you have the ability to do research on the internet, DO IT! After you gather the facts, figure out if you feel it would benefit the ailments you personally have, THEN take it to the Doctor Who cares for you. They should be open minded and willing to accept this as a possible treatment! My Neuorlogist was so pleased that I did all the research on the LDN treatment for MS and was SOLD on the idea of me starting it for my treatment. Please note: For MS patients, most of them have very nasty side effects which most MS patients don't want to deal with. For me, the research SOLD me on this treatment of LDN. THE FACTS about this LDN treatment: For MS patients, 98-99% no further progression of the lesions, 3% exhasserbation rate, and typically most patients see enormous results within as little as 3 weeks! (I personally noticed a drastic change IMMEDIATELY! I took my first shot, and the next morning I felt like my "old self" again!) PRAISE GOD!! <>< All I can say at this point is POSITIVE things about this drug. Please....for anyone who is thinking or wondering about the drug....check out the LDN websites that are very easy to access on the web! The facts are clear, easy to read, and more importantly...VERY ENCOURAGING! If any person has an ailment that would benefit from the treatment of LDN, make sure you work as your own advicit and take the facts to the doctor you deal with! There are many posts on UTUBE regarding this breakthrough 'wonder drug.' I encourage everyone to try this treatment should you doctor prescribe the medication. I've heard so much about a capsule form of LDN, but where I live, and the doctors I deal with, would only prescribe this medication in an injection. Typically MS pateints are to take between 1.5 - 4.5 mg of LDN. It has been recommend for MS patients to start at 3.0 mg at bedtime. My doctor only prescribed this in injection format which means that I'm taking 0.4mg/1mg. (I'm still wondering if that is the right dose...but it's done great!) Trying to find the proper conversion rates from the capsule form at 3 mg to the right injection dose seems to be a little less clear. Something to watch, though, is that the capsule form has a lot of fillers that are NOT present in the injections. Nobody wants to inject themself daily, but it's been the best experience for me! I have six children (ages 3 through 16) and I never thought I could do the injections. I've surprised myself and my family! It's so easy when you see such QUICK RESPONSES! GOD BLESS! <><
Low Dose Naltrexone
Naltrexone is an opioid receptor antagonist. It binds to opioid receptors in cells. The FDA has approved its use for drug detoxification and chronic treatment of opioid dependence. Dosages for these purposes range from 50 mg to 150 mg. LDN is Low Dose Naltrexone. In low doses (4.5 mg), some believe it will help certain symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, arthritis, and other autoimmune diseases, but that has not been verified by scientific studies (September 2014).
ALTHOUGH NALTREXONE IS AN OPIATE BLOCKER. CONSTANT USE OF THE DRUG WILL OVERRIDE THE NALTREXONE AND OVERDOSE IS POSSIBLE
