white washed is used as a use of language to show that a person of colour is starting to become or act "white" and not their colour, which is a very stupid meaning because it also indicating that all the stereotypes around the world are being used as a form of" white washed instead of it being used for laughs and genuine use it's been used to hurt and ruin people of colour, as it's a form to show that their "are not quote acting their colour"? this reference is being showed not to uplift people of colour but turn them down, and the sad thing is it's used from people of colour themselves.

When a media portrayal is described as "whitewashed," it means that non-white characters or aspects of a story have been altered or omitted in favor of white portrayals. This can result in a lack of diversity or a distorted representation of reality in the media.
