It is normal for the oil pressure to drop when the engine is warmed up and at an idle.
Around 40
20-40 lbs
about 20psi at idle (warm) and 40 to 50psi at 2000rpm.
40 - 80 psi at idle, depending on what the engine is.
Warm engine at idle, 30-40 psi. 10 minimum.
Don't know what vehicle and or engine you have but some idle with normal oil pressure of 8 psi or less.
The normal oil pressure on a 2002 Chevy S10 V6 is around 40 PSI. This will vary slightly depending on the temperature of the engine. Hot at idle in drive, 20 psi is also normal.
They say that the minimum oil pressure at idle (600) rpm on that engine is 13 pounds. I have the same engine in my cj5, and it has 60 at idle on start up, and only 4 pounds at idle when hot. It still runs good though. It has 276,000 miles. Those motors are bullet proof!
Depending on vehicle and engine approx. 20- 50 lbs. at hot idle (700 rpm)
normal oil pressure is 48 to 60
Normal oil pressure at idle would be about 30 psi. Minimum would be about 10.
