"Phenyl" is the name for an organic group in covalent compounds. Formally, a phenyl group results from chemically modifying one of the carbons in a benzene ring to replace the hydrogen originally attached to the reacted carbon by some other group. One way of writing the formula of phenyl is -C6H5, but by itself, this group is not stable at standard temperature and pressure, because it is a free radical and as such very reactive.

What can you put on a specimen to make it easier to see through the microscope?

phenyle blue was a common dye used in biology when I was in college. You need to check to see what the particular item you are wanting to look at will react with first, though.

What is the process of making white phenyl?

Take 1kg of classimulse PC emulsifier add 5 litres of pine oil (22 - 28% grade) and mix well for 5 minutes till a clear straw coloured microemulsion is formed. Now the concentrate is ready. Dilution: Take 39 litres of soft water in a plastic drum and keep seperately. Now take 1ltr of the already prepared concentrate and add 1litre of water from the 39 litres and add slowly and make a thin paste, which will be milky white. Then add this to the remaining water in the plastic drum and mix for another 5 minutes. You would get a total quantity of 40 litres of high quality white phenyle with good stability and 2 in 1 action. The classimulse PC is a nonionic blend of surfactants which give good dirt lifting and cleaning. Pine oil is a natural disinfectant and degreaser. A combination of both gives the best cleaning with disinfection for all cleaning needs. Please visit whitephenyl.blogspot.com for more details.
