The gap for the points is .020".
The gap for the spark plug is .030".
Timing is fixed but the setting of when the armature meets the cam follower is extremely important.
The butterfly valve should move at the center of the mark on the armature for this model.
There is play in the cam follower mechanism so just ligning up the cam follower to the mark may be too early.
