when you go into someone's stuff without permission. In the context of United States Constitutional law, the right to be free from governmental intrusion into certain areas of our lives has been found by the Supreme Court to be implied by the wording of the United States' Constitution, despite the fact that the Constitution itself says nothing explicitly about privacy. But the Constitution is concerned with protecting citizens from unreasonable government actions. For example, the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution forbids the government to conduct illegal searches and seizures of citizens or of their property. There are certain legal requirements that must be fulfilled beforehand by the government (i.e., obtaining a valid search warrant) for a search to be considered legal. If the government obtains evidence as the result of an illegal search, that evidence will not be allowed in court, and a jury will never see it. Also, the Fifth Amendment guarantees that the government may not force a criminal defendant to testify against himself. Based on these limitations on the power of government to intrude into the lives of citizens, the courts, over the years, have extended the right to be free from unreasonable governmental interference to certain other civil areas of peoples' lives. One of these areas is reproductive activities, and rights to privacy regarding involuntary sterilization, obtaining contraception, and abortion.

It is possible to get forgiveness for stalking someone. I myself have been in such a situation and I've managed to forgive that person even though they have never asked for forgiveness, so if the stalker is very sorry and apologizes sincerely, then all can be forgiven.
