Its called GALVANIZING...!!
zinc prevents rusting of iron by the process galvanisation
zinc is found in Rawar region of Rajasthan.
Galvanizing is a process of coating iron with zinc to protect against rusting. The process may be electrochemical, (the origin of the name) nowadays the term is most often appled to a hot dip porcess , simply dunking a clean iron/steel piece into molten zinc pulling it out and letting it cool.
You will have a mixture of zinc and iron filings.
Its called GALVANIZING...!!
The process of depositing a layer of zinc over iron from preventing it to rust is called galvanisation. Galvanisation does not let iron come in contact with oxygen so it does not allow it to rust and corrode. Since, iron does not come in contact with oxygen it doesn't react.
The process of coating a thin layer of zinc on iron is called galvanizing or zinc coating. This process is carried out by dipping a clean sheet of iron in a zinc chloride bath and then heating it. After this the iron sheet is removed, rolled into molten zinc metal bath and finally cooled with air. Advantage of galvanizing is that it protects iron against corrosion even after the coating surface is broken.
zinc prevents rusting of iron by the process galvanisation
"Galvanizing" or "galvinization".
Zinc prevents iron from rusting through a process called galvanization. When zinc is applied to the surface of iron, it acts as a protective barrier against water and oxygen, preventing them from coming into contact with the iron. This barrier effectively stops the corrosion process, preserving the iron and preventing rust from forming.
Due to the fact that the zinc and chromium are corrosion resistant, they ll be a coat to protect the materials made from iron, which ll rust after long time used. So,when the iron is dipped in molten zinc, the process is called galvanizing. Thanks.by the way,my english is not my mother tongue.

Several substances could be used to do thisPaintTin (as in a tin can)Zinc (as in galvanized iron)WaxTo prevent rust you need to stop the oxygen in the air (and moisture) getting to the iron leading to oxidisation. However the galvanic process also provides electrical protection by ensuring that the zinc oxidises before the iron while there is still any zink left in contact with the iron.
Iron with a zinc coating: galvanizing is the deposition of a zinc coating over a metal (usually steel) to inhibit corrosion. The process is simple. In this case, manufacture your part (either forge or cast the iron) and then hot dip it in molten zinc to coat it and produce your galvanized iron part.
It is a chemical process.
