An example of recycled timber would be if a timber building is knocked down the timber from that building is cleaned up and reused for other things . when used timber is used again it has been recycled.

Recycled timber or wood can come in several forms: Recycled, Salvaged and Reclaimed.

Salvaged wood has not been previously cut into lumber or used for construction. Most of this material is still in log form and was harvested many years ago. Reclaimed or recycled wood is wood that has been previously used in the construction of buildings that are now being carefully dismantled and prepared for reuse. This material is tremendously stable and has been air dried for decades.
