Red blotches on the skin that are not bumpy or itchy could be any number of things. It could be an allergic reaction to something such as a new detergent or soap. It could also be irritation from clothing. You should see your doctor if it does not clear up.
It's something that happens when you're out in the sun too long. It happens to me all the time. It's nothing to be worried about.
This sounds like eczema (I have it).

A day or so after exposing my hands to extreme cold or very cold water the knuckes begin to itch and sore. Any suggenstion to ease the itch or is it not from the exposure to the cold.
An itch is where your skin is red and starts infecting it .
probably an allergy, check your doctor, you may need to switch away from chlorine.

i think i can relate to this question. i have a rash that is very small bumps and it itches really bad and seems to spread all around my hands and recently is in my neck and face. it seems to itch worse and get inflamed when i eat sugar. i dont know what this is and nobody can tell me. i suspect it has to do with a yeast overgrowth internally. i would like answers to this as well....
Sounds as if you might be allergic to the chlorine (or some additive) in the pool. Check with a dermatologist.
