Yes, nonrenewable and renewable sources are different - very different. For example, nonrenewable sources such as fossil fuels harm the environment and will run out soon. Green renewable sources are good for the environment such as solar energy. It comes from the sun. That is why it is called solar energy.

Renewable resources are the resources that can't run out, like solar is renewable because the Sun isn't going to go out anytime soon, and wind is too because there will always be wind. A nonrenewable is the resources that wont last forever like gas and oil which will run out eventually. Rrenewable and nonrenewable resources are both natural resources

Non-renewables are energy sources that do not get reformed, in a reasonable amout of time. These include Crude oil, Natural Gas, Coal, Uranium. As you can see, they are all underground.

Renewable Energy will be recreated, by or in the Natural Environment. This list will grow, as new methods to store, or extract energy, or get work done, become available.

The entire Plant Kingdom, and entire Animal Kingdom, can be considered renewable energy sources, as well as renewable food and renewable shelter sources. Look after them. They do have feelings too.

Other renewable energy includes harnessing tidal power, wind power, solar power, Geothermal power, water current power, and others.
