A rescue carry is a technique to move an injured or unconscious person to safety. The most common carry is known as the fireman's carry, a one-person carry that distibutes the weight of the victim across both shoulders of the rescuer while maintaing a relatively stable center of gravity. From standing position, start by facing the victim and grabbing the same side wrist (i.e. your left arm to his or her right arm or vice versa). Then dip the opposite shoulder down and wrap your arm around the victim's thigh. Keeping your back straight (so as not to become injured yourself), base your legs out, raise your shoulder, lift with your legs, and adjust the victim comfortably across your shoulders. Then proceed slowly and cautiously to safety. There are various other rescue carries other than the fireman's carry, some involving two or more people, so do some additional research if you would like to learn more.
