Ohms
A possible/probable unit is Watts.
Resistor is a separate unit from the blower motor
hinders flow of current
The unit for resistance is the Ohm and is represented by the Greek letter Omega (looks loke an upside-down horseshoe).
To measure the change in energy per unit charge across a resistor, you can use the formula E = VQ, where E is the energy, V is the voltage across the resistor, and Q is the charge passing through it. By measuring the voltage across the resistor and the charge passing through it, you can calculate the energy per unit charge.
e or E stands for ohm, the unit for resistance
Check by or near the unit itself
The blower resistor is located under the dash, near the floor, on the passenger side of the vehicle. I had to replace the resistor about a year ago. It is not an easy place to work in. You have to remove the blower unit in order to get at the resistor. Not fun, but rewarding when you actually do it yourself.
A resistor is an electrical item/unit that takes a pre-determined voltage & controls the output to various voltages. A relay is an electrical switch
right next to the blower unit.
The blower unit is located i the passenger compartment above the right front footwell, ahead of the glovebox. The resistor is located in the housing just to the left of the blower housing.
The blower motor resistor is located on the lower right side of the HVAC unit housing inside the the vehicle under the dash on the passengers side........
