I think sword-fish steak or tuna steak would be fairly close.
steak, beef, and salmon
Sempio - 2011 Korean Food Salmon Steak 1-178 was released on: USA: 5 December 2011
A salmon steak is a vertical slice down through the cleaned carcass, generally about 2cm thick.
Not beef or pork steaks, but salmon, shark, or swordfish steaks are.
Steak IS meat. Meat is the essence of a steak: A steak is not the same if it's not of meat, whether that meat is beef, venison, bison, moose, turkey, salmon, halibut, etc. (Steaks don't have to be just of beef...)
There are 453.592 grams to a common US pound.
a medium salmon steak has about 243 calories and 10-13 grams of fat (but some of it is good fat, gotta get those omega-3's!) and nealy 30 grams of protein.
Both can be healthy and each provides valuable nutrients. Salmon provides fatty acids, so it is probably more healthy than steak if each is grown in a healthy, natural environment. Each has the potential to be unhealthy. If the animal the steak is from has been raised in an unhealthy environment, and has been given steroids and antibiotics due to lack of exercise and possible disease, the steak will be unhealthy. If the salmon has been genetically modified (which is being done), the potential health effects are not known, but some propose that genetically modified foods are unhealthy. So, which is healthier depends on many factors. Overall, natural salmon is probably healthier than steak.
