Scheduled medication is medication whose prescription is controlled and monitored by the Drug Enforcement Agency. The medications include stimulants like Adderall, benzodiazepines like Xanax, and painkillers like Vicodin and morphine.
Tramadol is not a schedule II medications.
Codeine is a 'scheduled' drug (i.e.- you can only puy or possess it with a prescription). If you were not prsecribed this medication then you are in unlawful possession of a scheduled narcotic.

FORGETTING to tell??? Possibly - especially if it is a 'scheduled' or a prescription drug -and- you'd better be able to produce a prescription for it.
It's an opioid pain medication , and a Scheduled Narcotic. It has some fair probability for dependence, so do not exceed your prescribed dosage without your Doc's permission.
Not all medication needs to be classified as a scheduled drug. Drugs that are scheduled drugs are usually; Amphetamines (Ritalin, Cocaine, etc.) THC (Marijuana) Barbiturates (Phenobarbital, etc.) Opiates (Oxycodone (Percocet), Hydrocodone (Vicodin), Heroin, etc.) LSD PCP Benzodiazepenes (Klonopin, Kpins, Clonazepam, Xanax, Lorazepam (Ativan), etc Sleep Medication such as Ambien, and Lunesta with psychodelic properties. This is because these drugs have either little or high risk for abuse...and are scheduled also because they are not to be held by any body other than whom the medication was prescribed for. For instance, if you have 2 Cymbalta pills for depression, and I get caught with them by the police - It is possible that I will go to jail, but the drug is not a Scheduled chemical, therefore, there is no risk that I am selling or using for any illegal purposes. If I get caught with Vicodin, and I do not have a prescription for it, then my a** will go to jail, with only a small chancel, like 1% that I won't if I have good use. Look up scheduled drugs on Wikipedia, you will learn more than asking questions on WIKI ANSWERS.
One of the most common symptoms women feel with endometriosis is pain, light or severe. Lortab is a common drug used to manage pain. This is normal, however, keep in mind that Lortab is a scheduled substance and is an addictive medication, physically and mentally. Caution should be used when taking this medication. If you have concerns about it, consult your prescribing doctor.
Feldene (piroxicam) is not a controlled medication. It is in the class of NSAIDS or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that are used to treat inflmmation and joint pain. (Ibuprofen and Aleve are also NSAIDS). There are no risks for developing tolerance to this medication nor is there a withdrawl when the medicine is abruptly stopped. These medications must be considered habit-forming. These are the main criteria that a med must fit into in order to be placed as a Scheduled 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 medication. All non-addictive medications are not placed in a Scheduled category. While Feldene is used for pain, it is chemically different than other pain pills like oxycodone or morphine (both are scheduled 2 meds). That is why Feldene does not meet the requirements. Hope this helps! S.Z. CPhT, RN
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it's close to your next scheduled dose, skip the dose and don't take extra medication to make up for your missed dose.
