No I don't think so. God's covenant was with the nation of Israel. Amos' message to the kingdoms of Israel and Judah was they were not keeping their part of God's covenant with them.
Because of our covenant with Him (Exodus ch.19).
The covenant made with God was permanent and unbreakable. So if God exists, the Jews will always be his chosen people.
A covenant is a contract between a lesser person and a greater person. A covenant is seldom between equals, so the lesser person is usually asking for protection by the greater person. In return, the greater person gets allegiance and tribute from the lesser person. "Micheal made a covenant with Mary to protect her property." "Abraham's covenant with God extended to all the children that God promised him."

The word covenant appears in Matthew here:Mat 26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.A covenant is an agreement/a promise/an undertaking. In the Old Testament times God made a covenant with the nation of Israel. He would be their God and they would be His people. But Israel failed to keep their part of the covenant, they were supposed to be a light to all the other nations to show God's ways.So God has made a new covenant, it is sealed with the blood of Jesus, it is to all who believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he died as a sacrifice for sin.Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. If you believe this then you will be saved from the judgment that all people will face - that is God's promise.

There is no specific mention of God making a covenant with Joseph after he was sold into slavery. However, throughout Joseph's story in the Bible, God's presence and favor are evident in the way Joseph's life unfolds, ultimately leading him to become a powerful figure in Egypt and saving his family from famine.
Being sorry is a start to comming back to Christ, but being sorry is not enough, one has to feel a deep sorrow at having offended God by your actions. So deep is that sorrow that nothing is more important in your life than to covenant with God that you will not repeat those sins again, so that He will send His spirit to comfort you in your sorrow. You will know for a surity that you are forgiven. Remember the covenant is made between yourself and God. He will keep His side of the promise, it will be up to you to see that you keep yours.
It was a covenant or agreement. In a covenant one party agrees to do something when another party agrees to do something different. God promised to make the Israelites a holy nation if they would follow His rules. So they did and He did.

Before the time of Moses God spoke to people eg Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel) so maybe there were some things written down. However it wasn't until after the exodus from Egypt that God made the covenant with the nation of Israel and that's when Moses recorded the laws of the covenant.
