Hysterectomy using the da Vinci method and equipment is fast becoming one of the more frequent procedures for removal of the uterus. If this procedure is proposed, ask the surgeon or gynecologist to explain it to you in detail and ask how much experience they have using this method.

This procedure is robotic-assisted and done through a laparoscopic approach which is very minimally invasive and recovery times are much shorter, pain is less severe after the surgery, and often only a few Bandaids are needed on the small incisions after the procedure.
